The regional style of our boats is to give our customers the feeling of being traveling on boats of line as the natives of the region do, but with comfort, safety and service on board. Whole hardwood boats, 40 to 80 feet, with motorized boats and canoes as needed for excursions.

Alto Amazonas, is the region of Rio Negro, where the Anavilhanas archipelago is located and the city of Novo Airão, is an ideal region for ecotourism. Unlike other parts of the Amazon, there are almost no mosquitoes on the Rio Negro, due to the natural acidity present in its waters. In addition, it is one of the most wild and unspoiled part from all the Amazon.

Day 1: Departure From Manaus 

In the morning a private car with a driver will be waiting for you at the lobby of your hotel to drive you to the port of Manaus

where the captain and all the boat crew awaits you for your cruise on the rio amazon, after the welcome drink  you will be entitled to a presentation in which we will give you all the information and explanation you will need during your cruise
(Fauna, flora, water basins, regional customs, study of maps for plotting the route…).

Then you go towards the January lake ,Arrival at Lago Janauary, a rich Amazon ecosystem full of birds, reptiles, exotic plants and giant trees, bathed by the waters of the Solimões River, abundant in life and organic nutrients.

for those who wish it will be possible to make a canoe excurtion for an obreservation of the flora and fauna that populates this ecosystem (depending on the season you will be able to observe a multitude of birds, monkeys, and aligators)

Back on board for lunch.

In the afternoon you will go to the birthplace of the Amazon river known as the meeting of the waters. it is the place where the Negro and Solimões rivers meet side by side over more than 9 km. to form the Amazon river

Then you continue the navigation towards the archipelago of Anavilhanas, Rio Negro

Dinner and overnight on board

Day 02: Rio Negro – Rio Ariaú  – Acajatuba

Wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise in this wonderful wild place far from any civilization.

After breakfast on board, you set off in a small motor boat to visit a tribe of Indians who live on the banks of the Rio Negro.
once arrived in the village and be welcomed by the members of the tirbe you will have the right to a rustic presentation of traditional customs. Dance, history and crafts made by the members of  the community

In the afternoon after lunch time, We continue the navigation towards the Ariaú river on the way you will have several stops where you can admire the giant trees once you arrive to the Ariau  you will go by canoe for a fish piranha tour , a very common species of fish in amazonia.

After dinner you go for a night safari to observe the wildlife that inhabits the forest at night.

Day 3:Archipel des Anavilhanas
Free day, the spot is 100m from the pousada.

In the morning you set off on a small boat to meet the Amazonian dolphins known as the Amazonian Pink Botos. you will also have the chance to swim with these magnificent mammals. you will also have the chance to observe the Pirarucu consider as the largest fish scales of the Amazon and that the natives call the Lion of the Amazon.

Back to the boat for lunch

In the afternoon departure by small boat for the visit of the community cabocla do Miriti and its manioca factory call by the indigenous people “casa de farinha” then set off for a 2 hour trek in the forest for the observation of the fauna and flora of this part of the forest

Dinner on board, while sailing back to the heart of Anavilhanas National Park.

Day 04: Anavilhanas – Manaus
Return to Manaus with a stop in the small town Novo Airão. for a city tour after lunch at the Restaurante Flutuante Flor do Luar before continuing on to Manaus.
Arrival in Manaus around 3.30 p.m.
Then transfer to the airport for your return flight
